In 1978, The Captain’s Gig was taken over by The Struves, and their dear friends the Larsons, right here on the first pier of Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf.

It has now been reimagined by their daughter, Quincy Yaley (Struve), and her husband Mike Yaley as simply The Gig. 

A new family institution, with old roots.
